"Survival"
Can’t be the only thing on our minds
Survival
THE EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS
Something’s missing, nobody likes it
and not all of the greed in the world could suffice
We’re trapped outside ourselves
by a world SO BUSY, SO EMPTY
Something’s missing
And it’s not just the growing discontent
but aren’t we all, a little, sometimes
Maybe something’s not right
A fading moment of insight tells me
MY JOB, MY WEED, MY TELEVISION
wont set me free
And this survival
can’t be the only thing on our minds
It’s not just survival anymore
We’ve got to rise
Above our senses
And our perception of reality is subjective
Doesn’t competition just run us around in
little circles, little cliques
Survival (or)
The evolution of consciousness
